    Perfect

We appreciated everything about the hotel: staff and food. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Furthermore, it was 400 metres from St Augustine's Church. Problem with TV was solved quickly too.

We stayed on Tuesday 9 October 2018. We informed your staff within an hour that the shower was broken and we were assured it would be fixed. When we returned we were told it had been fixed but it wasn't. Next morning I asked again to fix it and when we were checking out it still wasn't fixed. I find this totally unacceptable as we were attending a funeral and couldn't wash. Please let me know what you would normally do in such cases. Yours Pat Kiely

    Very good

Basic, but ideal for a short stay in the city, good value for money and clean.

I did not enjoy anything at my stay in the hotel!

The room was very dirty, smelly and uncomfortable, the hotel staff seemed quite rude, and the hotel itself advert's itself to be a top hotel, as this was my first stay in the Norfolk hotel i did not enjoy it I shall not be making any further reservations at the hotel and I have even 'warned' friends and family not to stay at this hotel. I felt so uncomfortable and frustrated in the room that I actually left the hotel to stay with friends.

    Location

The hotel needs to state they are under renovation, as they only pictures that show the true hotel is the reception area. The rooms were dirty out dated and seen better days..... The bathroom well no way was I going to shower in there!!!!!

    Price

Undergoing renovation but that does not meen the little things did not matter. No bedside lights had bulbs,no waste bin and a struggle to draw curtains as they were behind bunk beds. The room was generally shabby.

To be totally honest I did not think very much about the Norfolk hotel at all. The receptionist was not very friendly at all. She just gave me the key card and told me the room number, without giving me instructions as to where to go, when I have never been to the hotel before. The only best thing about the hotel is the location.

The room, was not that clean at all. There were stains on various things, not to mention a whole load of cob webs oviously the rooms are not been cleaned properly. The worst thing is as you enter the room there is a strange smell like stale urine. I have stayed at another hotel further up the road, which was a lot cheaper that was a lot more cleaner than the Norfolk Hotel. I dont think it was worth the price that I paid. I will not be going there again.

There was nothing to like. the norfolk hotel is not a hotel.

the norfolk hotel is not a hotel. it is a doss house . they have nice lobby then you move towards the lifts and its a pig style electric sockets expose. urine and sick wet carpet in our room rubbish under beds. the norfolk is used for homeless families. and people a guy smoked a joint next to me just outside during evening, The first room the carpet was drenched and carpet filthy where someone had been sick. the room stunk. they moved us . the next room electric open socket between my daughters beds. rubbish wrappers from pasties sweets were under bed. balls of peoples hair on carpets. no remote in room light switch in second adjoining room was a mass of switches that seem to do nothing. after telling my daughter whom is a social worker in Birmingham she informed me The Norfolk hotel is used for temporary accommodating homeless troubled families immigrants. and people waiting to get into a hostel for alcohol and drug problems. it is where they take these people while they sort out problems with finding them housing. We left and I cancelled payment at 3 am, after hearing drunks gamble down corridor trying to find their rooms, by trying all doors . I had my 12year and 15 year old daughters with me. and they were terrified. In my older daughters words The Norfolk is NOT a proper hotel.

it was dirty smelly and dull the lift was out of order we were put on the 3rd floor and my daughter was on crutches i booked a triple room as i was staying with my daughter and her friend as we went to a concert at the ballroom. but was told i couldnt have a triple because they had a leak !!! the alternative was a double and a single .... or 3 single rooms .... obviously i had to choose 1 of the options but this i feel was not good enough thank goodness my daughter is older to have been able to share a room with her friend but this didnt excuse the fact that i worried all night because we were not all in the same room.

Free parking, comfortable bed, nice reception area.

The decor of the hallways was seriously outdatedand smelt fousty, my room was cold and the heater didnt work, the wallpaper was peeling off, room was very small for a double should of been for a single bed, not enough parking spaces. One stairwell had holes in the carpet. And most importantly I viewed the norkfolk hotel website before booking and the rooms look so nice abs really week decorated but the room I had was old, outdated and nothing like the photos the wallpaper was from about 20 years ago and peeling off.

Worst place I have ever stayed even for the cheap price. Was checked in for 2 nights but left after 2 hours in the room. Although a non smoking room the room smelt like an old ashtray and the smell quickly soaked into all of my clothing. Could not sleep for the smell.
